Mike Paetzel, Superintendent
Since starting with ECI in 1988, Mike has successfully managed projects that feature all aspects of site construction. Mike’s knowledge makes him capable of managing complex site elements associated with skate parks, post tension courts, synthetic turf fields, swimming pools, pedestrian bridges and multi-use buildings. He also coordinate’s ECI’s field safety program.
Tony Perdue, Construction Manager
Tony began his professional career as a bridge engineer at URS/Greiner then as project manager at the City & County of Denver in the Design and Construction Management Division; after several years of engineering work he decided venture into the contracting arena and worked his way to Senior Project Manager with ValleyCrest Landscape Development. In 2005, he was hired by M.A. Mortenson Company as Project Manager providing on-site supervision of prime contractors and design consultants at the Stapleton Redevelopment site. Tony recently joined ECI’s team to provide additional expertise in civil infrastructure and recreation projects.
Rick Coulter, Superintendent / Consultant
Rick has been involved in a variety of projects for ECI over the past 25 years encompassing anything from utility installation through skate park construction, and Civil Infrastructure. With his wide variety of experience, Rick often assists with consulting on ECI’s more complicated projects to ensure quality work and to optimize manpower and equipment.
Scott Shaffer, Assistant Superintendent
Scott was hired by ECI in 2009, to assist with a fast-track project in Fort
Morgan, CO. His previous experience with excavation equipment and
working knowledge of the concrete and masonry trades was a great
addition to our company. He assists in surveying and layout,
coordination of various trades, as well as helping to supervise various sub-grade installations.
* Highly skilled equipment operator—tracked excavators, bulldozers/
side boom, wheeled loaders, wheeled backhoes, road grader, scraper,
and skid-steer loader.
