ECI SITE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT EXPANDS TEAM
Tony Perdue enhances construction-management service
LOVELAND, COLO. – ECI Site Construction Management, well-regarded for its expertise building complex community parks and sports complexes across the state, is teaming with Tony Perdue to offer additional management and oversight of projects, including buildings and other “vertical” construction.
Tony Perdue, a 20-year industry veteran who has played key roles on projects totaling nearly $150 million, is working with ECI to manage several key, high-visibility projects.
With the addition of Perdue, a professional engineer, to the ECI roster, the company is more strongly positioned to work with clients from the initial project-planning and design phase.
“Having ECI at the table during the planning and design phase helps speed the project completion and ensure a more accurate cost estimate,” said Brian Peterson, ECI president. “ECI is more than just a contractor. We’re a construction manager involved from Day 1.
“Tony brings incredible experience working on complex, large-scale projects that involve multiple sub contractors,” Peterson added. “His know-how will prove invaluable to ECI clients as they plan and implement a project.”
Perdue, a licensed engineer, currently is overseeing ECI’s construction of $4 million Hideaway Park in Winter Park, Colo., which is scheduled for completion in November 2008. When completed, the park will feature an amphitheater that seats 3,000, a 50-foot-long climbing wall, 8,000-square-feet of heated concrete so the park can be used year round, custom tent shade shelters and more.
Prior to his work with ECI, Perdue was a project manager with M.A. Mortensen Co., where he managed the $50 million infrastructure and building-construction program for Stapleton Redevelopment, a 4,500-acre community in Denver. At Stapleton, he supervised prime contractors and design consultants to ensure projects were completed on time and within budget.
Prior to M.A. Mortensen, Perdue served as senior project manager at ValleyCrest Landscape Development, construction manager at Quality Project Management and owner of Earthworks, a commercial and residential landscaping company.
