Voted "Best Playground" and Best Place to Skateboard" by the citizens of Loveland in 2007, the sweeping 77-acre Youth Sports Complex is the city's largest park. For years, the City faced a shortage of youth athletic fields and facilities. In 2004, the City hired ECI as CM/GC to oversee creation of the Complex. From the beginning, ECI worked closely with the City's project manager and architects to finalize plans. Completed in 2006, the $6.6 million multi-use park features:
Seven full-size, seeded soccer fields
Two basketball courts
Two in-line hockey rinks
large skate park featuring bowls and street course
spray park located beneath "OZmill", a kinetic sculpture that moves with water and wind.
synthetic turf championship field with terraced seating and field lighting
Three multi-use shelters
maintenance building and staff offices
pond with aeration system
asphalt parking lots with spaces for 375 vehicles
