This 100 acre park is the second largest in the City of Fort Collins. It is the first universally accessible playground for children with disabilities. This was done in alliance with Shane's Inspiration Playground Organization. The inspiration adventure area has separate age appropriate playgrounds with a splash park and an innovative shotcrete designed “Sleeping Giant” that snores when you tickle his nose. The buildings on this site are inclusive of a restroom facility, park shelters, and a maintenance building. There are lighted tennis and basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, while a post-tension inline hockey rink adds much diversity. An extremely popular section of this recreational area is the wonderful dog park with its own swimming pond.
